Public Transport

Neaby stops: Hegermühle, Strausberg (S5 from Berlin)

From here you can hike, bike, or take a taxi.

Taxi from Strausberg: often times there’s taxis parked up at the station, no booking needed.

Taxi from Hegermühle: the ride is technically a few minutes shorter but requires booking.

Walk or Bike:

You can walk or cycle through a forest road directly from either stop, or shorten your trip by taking Tram 89 to Heinrich-Heine-Str. which is just at the top of the forest road leading up to Spitzmühle. Makes for a beautiful ~40-60 minutes walk / cycle. Bike spaces on the tram may be limited.

Parking

There’s several parking spots directly in front of the entrance to Spitzmühle, and once full, there’s also options to park some 100-200m up the road and at the forest trailheads.

Van / Caravan parking is also available but limited. We recommend arriving early.

Accommodations

Camping -

The camping space is just across the road from the main entrance - with access to outdoor showers and restrooms in the main building.

Container Dorm -

The container dorm is located on the building side and has 3 spaces with 4 bunks in each. The bunks include a mattress, pillow and duvet. Bedding is not provided and can be renter from the venue for €20 (or €10 for sheets / €19 for towels)

Hotel Rooms -

The hotel is part of the venue at Spitzmühle - there are 2 floors with 17 rooms just above the community space and the kitchen.

The rooms are either double (2 single beds which can be put together or pulled apart) or Quads (“family rooms” which are 2 adjoining double rooms with a door in between - and shared bathrooms).

Bedding (sheet, pillowcase & duvet cover) are provided when booking a room. Towels are not provided and can be renter from the venue for €10
