Taking Care of Nature

The venue has an ecologically sensitive setup.

As guests here, we’re invited to engage with the natural surroundings not just with respect, but as if tending to a body — alive and responsive.

Here are a few ways you can support this intention:

• No soap or product use in the lake — even biodegradable ones. The lake is a living system, and we’d like to keep it free from any additives.

• Outdoor showers: If you choose to use products while showering outside, we invite you to consider using natural, biodegradable ones.

• Hot tub: Please don’t add anything to the hot tub water — including oils, salts, or other substances.

• Toilets: Peeing in nature is completely welcome. Please use the designated toilets for everything else.

We hold this as an invitation, not a rule — a way of staying in relationship with the land we’re sharing for the weekend.
